Carfora calls for the Sperry Lane Project/Zone change application to be removed from the October 2, 2019 Planning & Zoning Agenda
Over 900 people have signed the stop Sperry Lane petition created by Ms. Kat Bowery. It is clear that the neighbors and the representatives of the adjoining areas DO NOT want this project and the developer sought ZONE change. Given the hard work of Ms. Bowery and the relentless efforts of Councilman Lou Pacelli we are fully aware of this. In addition, I have walked these neighborhoods and talked with constituents and hear very much the same thing over and over.

With the strong picture that this project and ZONE change is not wanted, nor are they in the best interest of our community, on behalf of the hardworking and passionate people who have voiced their opinion, I am calling for the developer and his representatives to remove their application from the October 2, 2019 agenda.
However, should they meet our wishes and remove this matter from this agenda, we must remain vigilant because controversial plans like this often reappear on agendas right after an election in an attempt to “slide” them through during the period of transition.
