Carfora: No Beach Pass Stickers Needed This Summer

No stickers will be needed, but have proof of residency like car registration and ID.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, an Emergency Ordinance was enacted on May 22 that restricts town beach access to residents only.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Mayor Joseph Carfora announced that residents will not have beach pass stickers this summer. Residents just need proof of residency with a photo ID, vehicle registration or similar.

“No longer having beach stickers is also a cost savings to the taxpayers of East Haven,” Carfora said in a news release.

The town is saving money by not purchasing the stickers and including them in tax bills.
