EAST HAVEN, CT — At its 17th Annual Dinner, the East Haven Chamber of Commerce paid homage to one of the towns' oldest businesses.

Noting it has been "serving East Haven families since 1939," the owners of the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, Joseph Deko and James Integlia, accepted the Best Business After Hours award from East Haven Chamber of Commerce Wednesday night.

"James and I are honored to receive the award along with our friends Joe and Lisa Flores from Rosso Vino and The Shore Line Trolley Museum," Deko said. "The East Haven community is a strong, tight-knit community, and we are proud to be part of it."
