The accident happened at 275 Sherman Avenue, and a witness saw the toddler falling from the window and tried to catch him but wasn't able to, police said. The child was found lying on the ground on top of a window screen, WFSB 3 reports. The mother was visiting a friend at the home and the toddler pushed against a closed screen and fell.No charges have been filed and the matter remains under investigation.
