Cops Seek Home Surveillance Camera Video In Shots-Fired Investigation

EAST HAVEN, CT —The East Haven Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident on Hughes Street that occurred on June 19, 2023 at approximately 11:20 P.M. in the area of Hughes Street / Cass Street. The incident, which is believed to be an isolated domestic incident, began when a light colored SUV fired several shots into a residence before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported from anyone inside the residence, which was occupied at the time of the incident.

We are asking anyone who lives in the area, with home surveillance cameras, to review video from approximately 11:00 P.M. -11:30 P.M. If they observe a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description on video surveillance, we are asking them to upload their video to this link.
