Coronavirus East Haven Update: Restaurants Open For Takeout List

EAST HAVEN, CT — Mayor Joseph A. Carfora is encouraging residents to support local restaurants during the coronavirus pandemic. And he's made it easier for folks by posting a list of those restaurants that are open for take-out and/or delivery.

"Please remember that many of our East Haven Town events are heavily supported by local businesses and without their support, these events could not take place. So now it can be our time to support them!

During these uncertain times, we ask that you keep in mind our neighbors who are business/restaurant owners. The spread of COVID-19 is impacting the local economy. While we might not be able to completely stop that, we can make a choice with our dollars.
If by chance, on a given evening you decide to use take-out, please think about our local businesses/restaurants. They need our help to stay afloat, and every single dollar spent at a small business/restaurant during this pandemic will give them a fighting chance to rebound when we do emerge from this situation.

A few ways to support our local restaurants are; buy gift certificates to enjoy at a later date, order take out and utilize the curb side pickup many establishments are offering, and use apps such as UberEats and GrubHub to have local restaurants food delivered to your doorstep. These businesses are vital to the fabric of our town and they now need our support. Below is an updated list of restaurants that are open for business. Please support them like they are always there to support East Haven.
