Disney's Beauty and the Beast-the Musical

The East Haven High School Drama Club is proud to present Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The production is directed by Daniel D. Schmidt with music direction by Elisabeth Stevens. The cast features students in grades 9 through 12 with Brandon Butler as Beast, Jamie Hribko as Belle, Bryan Butler as Gaston, Jason Gold as Lumiere, Victoria Gentile as Mrs. Potts, Selena Khantikone as Chip, Tia Adinolfi as Madame de la Grande Bouche, Taylor Mwroka as Le Fou, Robert Roach as Cogsworth, Brianna Lyon as Babette, Calib Barbera as Maurice and Stephanie Gentile as Monsieur D'Arque.

Be our guest for this beloved musical where a bookish beauty, Belle, dreams of something more than this provincial life and a Prince is trapped in the body of a hideous beast. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the spell will be broken and he will be returned to his former self. If not, he and his “Enchanted Objects” will be doomed for all time. A tale old as time, Beauty and the Beast is a story of hope and learning that what lies within us is true beauty. This classical musical love story is a magical tale that comes to life with unforgettable characters, and a stunning score including, "Be Our Guest," "Gaston," "Human Again," and the Tony-winning title song, "Beauty and the Beast."

The show runs April 21 and 22 7:00 p.m. in the East Haven High School Auditorium, 35 Wheelbarrow Lane, East Haven, CT 06513. Tickets are $12 adults, $10 seniors/faculty/students, $8 children under 10. FREE children under 3 and any child 4-10 in costume and accompanied by a paying adult. There is a FREE "Tea Time with Mrs. Potts and Chip from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on April 21st featuring tea and cookies, crafts, photo opportunities and songs with the cast.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and book by Linda Woolverton. It is presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International (MTI).
