Driving To Saturday's Fireworks, Beach Party? What You Need To Know

The 4th celebration at the Town Beach, all day party/nighttime fireworks, creates traffic issues. Know the rules before you go, EHPD says.

From the East Haven Police Department:

The Annual East Haven Fireworks will be held on Saturday, June 29th! (Rain Date July 1st)

As in past years, this event will create traffic issues.

Please see the below rules and map of the affected area which details temporary changes to road directions of travel.

We are asking our residents to have patience, as getting to and from the area on the evening of the 29th might involve heavy traffic and delays.

Please note: Parking is prohibited on Coe Avenue between Austin Avenue and Bradford Avenue on the southbound side. (Heading toward the beach)
