East Haven Based Nursing Home Fined by State: Report

EAST HAVEN, CT — The Connecticut Health Investigative Team reports that Talmadge Park of East Haven was fined $1,160 by the state Department of Public Health.

The incident in question occurred back in 2012 and a nurse's aid "forcibly pulled a resident," who had dementia, into a wheelchair, C-HIT reports. The aide was fired, according to the report. The case is just coming to light now because the fine was just paid.
