East Haven CAPT Scholars' Achievement Honored

Thirty-two East Haven High School students achieved CAPT scholar status this year, achieving advanced level on all four parts of the standardized test.

East Haven High School can boast more than 30 CAPT Scholars for the 2012 testing period.

Vincent A. DeNuzzo, principal of East Haven High School, reported that 32 members of the current junior class have been recognized as CAPT Scholars for achieving goal or above goal on all four parts of the Connecticut Academic Performance Test administered last spring.

Three students, in addition to CAPT Scholar status, are also State of Connecticut Scholars achieving advanced level on all four parts of the CAPT. 

The 32 CAPT and State of Connecticut Scholars were honored at a continental breakfast with their families on Oct. 26.
