East Haven Democrat Karen Martin, Running For State Rep., Qualifies for CT Clean Elections Program

EAST HAVEN, CT — Karen Martin for State Representative is proud to announce that the campaign has officially met the required contribution and signature goals to qualify for the CT Clean Elections Program — and did so in remarkable time.

This milestone reflects strong, early support from East Haven residents who want a representative in Hartford who will work harder for their community.

The campaign received just under 200 individual contributions, with an average donation of $43.

These numbers show that the campaign is being powered by everyday people, not large checks. Most contributions came from long‐time East Haven residents who believe it’s time for stronger local representation.

"We’re grateful for the support from neighbors across East Haven," the campaign said. “People
want someone who listens, shows up, and puts this community first. Meeting these goals so
quickly shows how ready folks are for a change.”

With qualification complete, the campaign will continue meeting voters, sharing Karen’s
message, and focusing on the issues that matter most to East Haven families.
