The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
While the Town has many issues going on at this time and the single most pressing issue facing our town is the Tweed Airport expansion. What I intend to do about it is listen to my constituents and what they want. I am going to make sure that East Haven does not get a bad deal out of this and I will not vote on or approve a plan that is going to damage the Town. I will fight to make sure that the expansion does not occur at the expense of East Haven. I will fight any attempt to expand if it does not make our Town better. The expansion will not be put on the back of East Haven if it not a fair deal to our Town or our townspeople.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I am very involved in Town within many different civic organizations and volunteer my time around Town.
Accomplishments:
I have, as well as my fellow Town Councilwomen in District One, fought to ensure that the children of East Haven had an affordable summer camp option within our Town. I worked very hard to make sure that the families of East Haven we able to afford summer camp without having an astronomical fee. I also ensured that a youth program in Town received funding for the first time as they were the only youth program not receiving any funding.
Other issues:
Ensuring that East Haven gets the best deal with regard to Sperry Lane as well as with DC Moore school. If it is not for the betterment of East Haven, then it shouldn't happen.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I am a hardworking woman, a loving wife and most of all a great mom to my two daughters. I love the Town of East Haven and I am here to ensure that the Town only gets better from here. We deserve the best, and I will fight for nothing less than the best.
