The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

The biggest challenge facing East Haven the is balance of limited budget dollars vs.need for infrastructure maintenance and upgrades. Regular preventative maintenance of our town assets, equipment and buildings, needs to be planned, addressed and implemented on an ongoing basis. Recent examples of this include the pool and the ice rink, which didn't receive appropriate maintenance over the years and are now inactive and in need of major repairs.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

Diverse work experience in finance, have worked across the aisle, dedicated and rarely miss a meeting.

Accomplishments:

Am always prepared and review budget ahead of meetings; ask questions at meetings and review YTD actuals.

Other issues:

1. Continue to evaluate and monitor the revenue and expenses for the Town of East Haven 2. Oversee and monitor the capital spending for town infrastructure and improvements 3. Assure department heads are spending town funding in the most appropriate manner

I am a life-long resident of East Haven and a financial professional that has over 25 years experience overseeing complicated, international budgets in excessive of $300M. I am currently employed at Yale University, where I am the Director of Finance and Administration and oversee all budgetary and administrative issues for my dept. I earned my MBA, BS, and AS degrees from Quinnipiac University.
