The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
I feel there a few major issues facing our town: keeping a stable budget, not raising taxes and bringing fiscal responsibility and proper reasonable development to our area and not over-developing our town with projects that don’t fit the landscape of our community. Also, it's important to work on our blight and keeping our town clean and attractable for businesses to move in.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
A few of the major differences between me and my opponents is I am very visible in the community and I keep my thumb on the pulse of what’s going on in town. I work diligently to listen to my constituents and hearing their concerns. I will always fight for them. I am honored and pleased to serve as a Town Councilor and I look forward to serving you again
Accomplishments:
I’ve served two terms on the Town Council, this last term as vice chairman, and two terms on the Board of Education. Having worked on four town budgets and making sure the taxpayers are represented and these are transparent budgets, I worked hard to make sure that our district has the means to keep the police department and fire department funded to keep our citizens safe and I have fought hard for reasonable development in our community.
Other issues:
I want to see our Board of Education funded properly so our students have the means to move forward into this 21st-century. Making sure our roads are plowed and maintained. Again I will continue to fight for reasonable development and stable taxes and transparency and honesty.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
Besides serving on the Board of Education for four years and on the Town Council for the last four years, the last 2 years as vice chairman, I was also chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission, and was also a member of the Cable Advisory Commission. I am faithful navigator of the Knights of Columbus Patrick Donlan Assembly 2459 in New Haven. I am a minister of the Eucharist for Lady of Pompeii Church and Lady of Pompeii Church lector. I helped coordinate a fundraiser for a family who suffered losses in a condo fire this past winter.
