Experience: Town Council District 3

Family in government: No

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Infrastructure. We need to increase our economic development with responsibility so it will suit our neighborhoods. I’ve spoken publicly against developments that would not suit our neighborhoods and will continue to do so.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I’ve attended critical public meetings and spoke publicly to oppose unrealistic development in my District. Some of my opponents did not speak on this issue.

Accomplishments:

I am proud to have balanced two fiscally responsible budgets without loss of services to our community. I created a Go Fund Me page that raised over $3000 to help residents who lost homes due to a terrible fire.

Other issues:

As an educator I feel education should be a top priority with the fiscal responsibility from the municipal side of the budget. The taxpayers need to know how funds are allocated and spent so it’s in the best interest of our students.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I am a lifelong resident of East Haven and a graduate of the East Haven school system. I sat on the school building committee and was a previous member of counseling and community service board. I will continue to work to secure funding for our Garden Cub and the arts and the Shoreline Greenway Trail.
