East Haven Fireworks No Parking and Road Closures Announced
The restricted parking areas and road closures are plentiful.

EAST HAVEN FIREWORKS NO PARKING & ROAD CLOSURES
For Saturday, June 27, 2015 (Rain Date: June 29, 2015) the following parking restrictions and road closures will be in effect
- The portion of Bradford Ave/Cosey Beach Road between Coe Avenue and Cold Spring Road will be designated as One Way Traffic Only West Bound.
- The following streets will be designated as North Bound Traffic Only: Catherine Street, Hobson Street, Phillip Street, George Street, and Steven Street.
- The following streets will be designated as South Bound Traffic Only: Palmetto Trail and Henry Street.
- The following streets will have South Side Parking Only: Austin Avenue and Wilkenda Avenue.
- The following streets will have North Side Parking Only: Soundview Avenue, Bradford Avenue and Cosey Beach Avenue east of Second Avenue
- The following streets will have East Side Parking Only: The portion of Bradford Avenue/Cosey Beach Road between Coe Avenue and Cold Spring Road.
- The following street will have West Side Parking Only: North Atwater Street.
- The following street will have No Parking Either Side: Second Avenue.
- Some parking will be allowed on Cosey Beach Road from Silver Sands Road to Cold Spring Road. The areas where parking will be prohibited will be posted.
- All streets unless listed above will have parking on both sides of street. All streets designated as one-way streets can park on both sides but have to face in the direction of traffic flow.
- All violations are subject to police enforcement action.
- Handicap drop off will be in beach parking lot closest to Cosey Beach Avenue and Coe Avenue. This area will be posted and be open to public throughout the event.
- There will be handicap spots designated in the lot and will be filled on a first come, first served bases.
- The command vehicle will be parked on Coe Avenue by Cosey Beach Avenue and will act as a command post (CP).
- Coe Avenue (south of Bradford Avenue) will be sectioned off with traffic cones and closed to thru traffic. Sandpiper customers will be allowed access to the Sandpiper parking lot.
- Limited beach lot parking will be permitted.
- Residents should expect heavy traffic delays and temporary road closures in the immediate shoreline area at the conclusion of the fireworks from 9:30 PM to midnight.
