East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band Places First

On Saturday, October 29th, the band will compete in USBands New England States Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium in New Britain.

The East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band placed first in two competitions in one day on Saturday, October 22nd. Performing in the wind and rain, they scored an 87.225 at Southington High School, with special caption awards for Best Color Guard, Best Music, Best Overall Effect, Best Percussion and Best Visual.

The band then traveled to Danbury High School, where the competition was moved indoors due to the inclement weather, but still they prevailed, beating their top score of last season with an 89.750! Special caption awards included Best Music, Best Overall Effect and Best Visual.
