East Haven High School Students Improve on CAPT Exam
The only area where students declined from the previous year was in Science, all other areas improved.
Some good news when it comes to East Haven High School and its performance on the Connecticut Aptitude Performance Test.
From school board meeting minutes: East Haven Instructional Leaders presented the 2013 CAPT data.
This data compared EHHS’s performance in to the State averages, as well as the average of the DRG. EHHS demonstrated growth in proficiency in Reading, Science and Writing. Proficiency in Math was practically even.

In Goal or above, EHHS demonstrated growth in Math, Reading and Writing, while Science showed a slight decline. The administration also presented several areas of focus and initiatives to address the deficiencies and to strengthen the positives.
