East Haven High School Yellowjacket Marching Band are Connecticut State Champions

On Saturday, October 25, the East Haven High School Yellowjacket Marching Band competed in the New England States US Bands championship at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium in New Britain.
East Haven competed against seven other bands. The Yellowjackets took home the Group 1A Connecticut State title. The name of the 2014 field show is Dom Za Vešanje (Time of the Gypsies) and features music from Korobushka, Hungarian dance No.5, Slavonic dances, and Korobushka finale. The band travels to Bridgeport on November 1 for the Musical Arts Conference Championship.
