East Haven Lawmaker Albis Attends Young Elected Officials Conference

The event was held in Washington, D.C. and it included 300 officials from all over the U.S.

State Representative James Albis (D-East Haven) attended the 10th annual Young Elected Officials (YEO) National Convening this weekend in Washington D.C.

Rep. Albis was joined by 300 other young elected officials and participated in many trainings, workshops, and lectures held by government experts and influential national figures.

“I am so grateful to have the opportunity to meet with other young legislators from across the country, learn from them, and also highlight all that Connecticut has accomplished this past legislative session. It was an incredibly productive meeting and I look forward to putting all that I have learned to good use, advocating on behalf of East Haven,” said Rep. Albis in a prepared statement.
