East Haven Election Results 2019: Vote Totals For Every Race
East Haven residents went to the polls and elected Democrat Joe Carfora mayor.
EAST HAVEN, CT — The votes are in and Democrat Joe Carfora is the projected winner of Tuesday's mayoral race, beating Republican challenger "Big" Steve Tracey. The final vote totals have not yet been released but it was clear Carfora led by a margin of nearly 600 votes.
The mayoral contest was not the only race. The Town Council and spots on the Board of Education and Board of Finance were all up for grabs.
Patch spoke to Al Carfora, brother and campaign manager who shared the results and simply: "We won!" Carfora's other brother Marc posted to Facebook.
