New Haven Man Accused of Rooftop Air Conditioner Theft
West Haven police say the man was on the rooftop of a former restaurant trying to remove the air conditioning unit.

A New Haven man is under arrest this morning but first he had to climb down from the roof first.
West Haven police say Christopher Olsen, 46, of Beacon Avenue in New Haven, is accused of being on the roof of the former restaurant, Captain Galley located on Beach Street around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say several people called them to notify them of this suspicious activity.

Police say Olsen was on the roof attempting to remove material, and when they arrived he was attempting to steal the air conditioning units, and metal piping.
He was charged with trespassing, larceny and criminal mischief. He was held on a $5000 bond.
