East Haven Man Arrested By Woodbridge Cops For Bank Robbery

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Saturday the Woodbridge Police Department charged Kirk Bell, 29, of East Haven in connection with a bank robbery last month.

New Haven Police took Bell into custody for the Woodbridge Police, who had an active warrant for his arrest.

Bell’s arrest stems from the Feb. 24 robbery of TD Bank, 128 Amity Road, in Woodbridge. Police said Bell came into the bank with a demand note, got money and took off, police said.

Bell was charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree larceny, police said.

Bell was initially unable to post his court-set $200,000 bond and remained in police custody, police said. He was taken to New Haven Superior Court for his arraignment Monday, police said.
