East Haven Man Charged In Theft Of Trailer In North Haven: Police
The utility trailer, which contained sports equipment for North Haven athletes, was stolen out of the school parking lot, police said.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — An East Haven man has been arrested in connection with the theft of lacrosse equipment from the North Haven High School parking lot in March, according to police.
Police said the equipment had been in a utility trailer that was stolen out of the North Haven High School/Middle School campus on March 20.
A tan GMC Sierra, extended cab pickup truck, entered the North Haven High School/Middle School campus and stole a white utility trailer, according to police.

Police said the trailer contained lacrosse equipment for North Haven athletes. The majority of the lacrosse equipment was recovered on March 24, according to police.
Detectives developed a suspect and an arrest warrant was approved, police said.

Thomas P Donovan, 43, of East Haven, was arrested May 6 and charged with second-degree larceny. He was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
“We would like to thank the East Haven and New Haven Police departments for their assistance, as well as those who provided anonymous tips,” North Haven Police wrote in a post on Facebook.
