East Haven Man Killed In Westbrook Crash: Report

Hoa Trinh, 54, of East Haven, who was a passenger in a car driven by a Branford man, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a report

EAST HAVEN, CT — An East Haven man was killed in a car crash early Thursday morning in Westbrook, CT Insider reported.

Hoa Trinh, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

State police responded to an Old Clinton Road home 1 a.m. Thursday on a report of a crash.

Police determined a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant was traveling east near the intersection with Hammock Road when the car veered onto the home's front lawn and struck a tree, according to CT Insider.

Trinh was a passenger in the car. The driver, a 61-year-old Branford resident, suffered a suspected minor injury.
