East Haven Man Stole Cash, Checks From Business: Milford Police

Police said the accused was charged on an arrest warrant and was given a $5,000 bond.

MILFORD, CT — John Kraszewski, 54, of Laurel Street, East Haven is accused of breaking into a business and taking an envelope containing cash and checks in October 2021, police said.

On Dec. 7, police arrested Kraszewski on a warrant, police said. Kraszewski is accused of "forcing entry to a business and taking an envelope containing cash and checks" in October of 2021, police said.

Once in custody, it was determined that Krazewski had another outstanding warrant that was served for failure to appear in court on a New Haven Police arrest for evading responsibility, police said.

He is charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear.

He was given a $5,000 bond.
