East Haven Man Violates Protective Order, Breaks Door: Milford PD

The accused violated a protective order and broke down a bathroom door, police said.

MILFORD, CT — An East Haven man is facing several charges after Milford Police say he violated a protective order in Milford. On Nov. 30, police responded to a Grant Street home on a report of a possible domestic violence incident.

Investigation led to the arrest of William Andranovich, 20, of Messina Drive in East Haven, who is accused of violating a court set protective order by being at the home, police said.

While inside the home, Andranovich broke down a bathroom door while yelling at the victim, police said. He left prior to police arrival and utilizing police K-9 Zar, Andranovich was found hiding under a nearby porch, police said.

He is charged with violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct, and third-degree criminal mischief. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
