East Haven Mayor Joseph A. Carfora Delivers State of the Town Address Thursday Night At EHHS

EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven Mayor Carfora’s State of the Town address is Thursday at 7 p.m. at East Haven High School. Carfora will present the Town Council-Mayor's 2026-2027 fiscal year budget. The address will be livestreamed on Carfora and the town's YouTube channel here.

Over the course of the next near two weeks, town department budget presentations and workshops, all held at the East Haven Community Center at 91 Taylor Ave., beginning April 6. Each at 6:30 p.m., first up are the senior center, social services, animal shelter, zoning, town clerk and more.

Tuesday, April 7, same time, same place, is the Board of Education budget presentation, and the following night, April 8, is the BOE general review.

Thursday, April 9, is the Mayor's Office's budget and engineering, public safety, board of police commissioners, police, library, sanitation, and more. Monday, April 13, are the building, IT, tax collector, assessor, public health, and finance budget presentations.

Thursday, April 16, is the board of fire commissioners, fire department, and emergency operation centers.

On Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m. is the Board of Education's budget public hearing.

April 22 is the general government public hearing at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, April 23, at 7, the town council special meeting and budget adoption are slated.
