East Haven Parents Who Don't Agree With School Dress Code in Minority

Most families comply with the dress code that was implemented four years ago.

Some East Haven parents don’t agree with the school dress code enforced by the Board of Education nearly four years ago, the New Haven Register reports.

Julie Clement, Marisa DiMicco and Michelle Davis, all mothers of elementary age school girls are opposed to the dress code.

According to the Register, DiMicco and Davis’ daughters continue to comply with the dress code while Jianna Clement, Clement’s daughter has not been complying with the dress code. Julie Clement told the paper that she feels school officials are treating her daughter differently from other students for not complying with the dress code adding that she doesn’t feel officials should be forcing such a police upon the students calling it a matter of principle.
