East Haven Police Officer, Longtime DEA Task Force Member, Sworn In As Detective

EAST HAVEN, CT—East Haven Police Officer Kyle Savo has spent several years as a task force officer with the DEA in New Haven.

In that role, he's worked "alongside law enforcement agencies across the state and beyond to disrupt the flow of narcotics coming into our communities," police noted in a social media post.

This week, Savo was sworn in by East Haven Chief of Police Lennon Edward as the police department's newest detective.

"We have no doubt Detective Savo will continue his hard work back here in East Haven," police wrote on Facebook. "Thank you for your dedication to our community. We look forward to your continued success in the years to come."
