East Haven Residents Allowed to Erect Fence on Town Property

For some time, people have been illegally dumping trash on the residents property.

For some time people have been illegally dumping trash onto Dominick and Lynn Crisci’s property at 19 Crisci Place.

That is now about to change as the East Haven Town Council unanimously approved allowing the Criscis to erect a fence on town owned land, according to Dec. 1 meeting minutes.

The Criscis wanted to construct the fence on land that is owned by the town to prevent illegal dumping of rubbish and other materials on their property, meeting minutes states.

The fence will be built at the end of Crisci Place. Town officials said it will improve the residents quality of life and the Criscis will pay for, maintain and insure the fence.

One council member questioned if this would impact snow removal in the area, but at the end of the day the request was unanimously approved.
