East Haven Rotary Club Honors Local Students

The East Haven Rotary Club recently recognized two East Haven High School juniors.

From the East Haven Rotary Club: The East Haven Rotary Club recently recognized two East Haven High School juniors as their most recent recipients of the club's Student of the Month program for September and October of this school year.

Each month the Rotary recognizes a student from East Haven High School's junior class. The student is invited to attend a Thursday night dinner meeting at the Twin Pines Diner Restaurant and is presented with a certificate and a check for $100.

Winners then become eligible for the $1,000 Jack Leary Memorial scholarship to be awarded at the end of their senior year. The Club will be celebrating its 80th anniversary next year as it was organized on March 3, 1939.
