EAST HAVEN, CT — The pandemic scuttled the event for two years. But when it returned, the East Haven Rotary Club’s annual Anginette Wars fundraiser drew hundreds.
Held at East Haven High School, the event drew more than 450 with 32 baking contestants.
The Rotary's largest event, it raised $11,00. Those funds are earmarked for the Ben Mazzucco “Clothe the Children” fund. The money also enables the club to sponsor a child to Camp Rising Sun, a camp for children who have or have had cancer.
