East Haven Schools Announced 5 New Coronavirus Cases Monday
The school district has 76 cases, five announced Monday with three of those educators, and has 152 in quarantine.
EAST HAVEN, CT — The letters keep coming. Two were sent to families on Monday announcing a total of five new coronavirus cases, three of whom are educators.
The district declined to identify the roles those educators play after a request for information by Patch.
As of Monday night, according to the East Haven Public Schools COVID-19 tracker, the district has 76 cases with 152 students and teachers in quarantine.

As it has since the beginning of the school term in its missives telling families of the latest cases, the district says all the cases are from community spread of the disease, not school-based transmission.
