East Haven Schools Calendar: Must-Know Dates for Winter 2016-17

EAST HAVEN, CT — We're getting closer to the midpoint of the school year somehow even though it feels like school just began. With that in mind, we wanted to share with you some important dates for the remainder of the year beginning with the upcoming holiday break.

Here are important dates for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year in the East Haven Public School System.

Early Dismissal Grades K-5: Dec. 7, 8

Dec. 23 (early dismissal)

Winter break: Dec-26 to Jan. 2 (school resumes Jan. 3)

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 16

Early Dismissal: Jan. 25

Early Dismissal Grades 6-8: Feb. 8, 9

Presidents Day/ Winter Break (school closed): Feb. 20. 21

Early Dismissal Grades 9-12: March 2

Early Dismisal: March 29

Spring Break: April 10-14, which includes Good Friday

Early Dismissal: May 3

No School Students: May 19

Memorial Day (school closed): May 29

Early Dismissal: June 5

Last day of school: June 7
