East Haven Unveils New Truck to Help with Snow Removal

East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr. recently took an inaugural ride on the town’s newest addition to its Public Service’s fleet, a new 2016 International 4300 4x2 Truck.

The medium stainless steel body vehicle arriving just in time for the recent start of East Haven’s debut of winter, has a sand spreader in the body and a full 10 foot snow plow to assist the department with snow and ice removal.

The vehicle while small enough to maneuver some of East Haven’s tighter side roads is also strong and large enough to handle any assignment to clean the main thoroughfares in town.

The price of the vehicle was approximately $128,000 purchased from Nutmeg International Trucks.
