EAST HAVEN, CT — The Shore Line Trolley Museum carries East Haven's Columbus Day weekend, from Thursday, Oct. 8, through Sunday, Oct. 11, with daytime rides to a pumpkin patch and a nighttime Haunted Trolley that sends passengers in search of Sasquatch.
This Weekend's Arts & Entertainment
- Haunted Trolley: In Search of Sasquatch — Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct. 10, timed rides 6 to 9 p.m. The 30- to 45-minute interactive show mixes thrills, theater, audience participation and a heavy dose of comedy, with 40 passengers per ride; tickets are $29 in advance or $49 for VIP first boarding and a shirt, and riders under 16 need an adult. - All Aboard the Pumpkin Patch Trolley — Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; last trolley at 4 p.m. A scenic trolley ride leads to a pumpkin patch where each visitor picks a sugar pumpkin to take home, with fall activities for all ages; the rides also run Monday for the holiday.
