Congratulations to the East Haven softball team led by its coach Ed Crisafi, who after 22 years, won his first state championship.
East Haven, who was clearly the underdog, rallied to beat top ranked team Fitch by a score of 4-2 to win the Class L State Championship game, reports GameTimeCT.com.
It’s East Haven’s first title since 1984. East Haven was the 10th seeded team and came from behind to defeat Fitch.
