East Haven's 21st Annual Fireworks, Beach Party 2023 Date Set

The event is a day-long festival of food, fun, fireworks and live music at the East Haven Town Beach.

EAST HAVEN, CT —East Haven’s 21st Annual Fireworks and Beach Party celebration is Saturday, June 24. The event is a day-long festival of food, fun, fireworks and live music at the East Haven Town Beach.

“It’s one of my favorite days," Mayor Joseph A. Carfora said. "I love seeing all our residents enjoying a great day at the beach together. This year, we have an amazing line-up of talented musicians and tribute bands to electrify the air leading up to the fireworks.”

Live Music, Entertainment

Soundcheck Band plays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Rahsaan Langley Project plays from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
He Will Rock You (Tribute to Journey, Queen, Starship, Styx & More) plays 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

99.1 WPLR hosts the event, bringing a "pump up the party atmosphere."

Food
There will be a variety of food vendors and concessionaires serving up tasty treats throughout.

Fireworks

The day wraps up with a "spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the sky" around 9:15 p.m.

Parking/Public Safety

And to ensure everyone's safety, please note that street access to the beach will be limited, with road closures in effect from 9 a.m. The East Haven Police Department will be on hand to guide motorists around the area.

Rain?

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Monday, June 26, with limited entertainment and fireworks.

Carfora noted that although the fireworks are presented by the town of East Haven, it relies also on donations from private businesses and individuals to make the event possible.
