Eastern Student Anthony Coss of East Haven Accepted into University Honors Program
WILLIMANTIC, CT -- Eastern Connecticut State University student Anthony Coss '19 of East Haven has been accepted into Eastern's University Honors program.Coss, who's majoring in Mathematics, is one of a select number of academically talented students being offered an opportunity to excel in areas above and beyond the traditional student curriculum.
"I developed and distributed a survey to 224 secondary-level students from two Connecticut school districts, After analyzing my data, I was able to build a profile of the average secondary school student. I was then able to utilize past studies and other literature to develop a plan to serve the needs of the average student," said Coss.

Students in the Honors Program also participate in the Honors Club, which provides opportunities for social, cultural, and educational interaction among members of the University Honors program, as well as interaction between the program and the campus community. For many students, this social aspect has been the key to their success in college.
