Tell me, Rhadamanthus--Where do lilies lay?

Near the White Isle?

Or the far off motiff off Dilmun?

Where shall the journey commence?

Up the magic hills of Mount Teide

Over the snowcapped volcano to Tenerife

Through the blessed garlands that make men weak?

Simple luxuries, intermittent showers, moist breezes, nourishing soils

Gently, settle the tides in the bay
