Energy Assistance Is Available For Eligible East Haven Residents
The cold is coming. And so is help for those East Haven residents eligible for energy assistance, the mayor says.

EAST HAVEN, CT—The cold is coming. And for some, that's a worry because of the cost to heat their homes. For those who qualify based on income, there's help.
Mayor Joseph Maturo and East Haven social services director Bob Petrucelli announced Tuesday that income eligible East Haven households may benefit from payments made directly to their primary heating vendor for fuel including oil, natural gas, electricity, propane, wood and wood pellets, through the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program.
Households may also be eligible to receive weatherization assistance and furnace tune ups.
