The New Haven County Bar Association's ASK A LAWYER program is designed to provide members of the community with general legal information; an attorney meets with the participant and provides a free 10-15 minute consultation. If the individual requires additional assistance, they are referred to our Lawyer Referral Service or a social service agency. No appointment is necessary, consultations are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
