The Northeast Organic Farm Association’s Organic Land Care Program will be hosting a free workshop for homeowners interested in learning more about organic land care. The workshop is titled “Green Up Your Yard with Organic Land and Lawn Care: Save Money and the Environment”.
This workshop provides information on the ecological and economic benefits of organic land care as well as the tools and resources needed to go organic at home. The workshop will conclude with a thirty minute question and answer period.
Participants will receive a handout of resources and a guide to finding local accredited organic land care professionals. The workshop will be taught by Kathleen Connolly, a NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care professional and Advanced Master Gardener.
