Following an annual meeting with election of officers at 6:00 p.m., the Friends of the Library will host local history teacher Don Johnson. Don will talk about who the "Leatherman" was and his connection to East Haven.
In the late 1800's, "The Leatherman" was a mysterious solitary figure who tramped a 365 mile clockwise circuit through eastern New York and Connecticut, while clad year-round in a homemade suit made of patchwork leather.
This presentation is free and open to everyone; reservations are required. Please reserve your seat on our events page at www.hagamanlibrary.info or call the library at 203-468-3890.
