Lincoln and the Crisis of the Union: A Look Into the Mind of a Great Leader

In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the American Civil War, the East Haven Hagaman Library will hold a free lecture on Abraham Lincoln and his struggle to keep a crumbling Union together. The lecture will be held on Wednesday evening, April 6 at 7:00p.m.. The Honorable Judge Anthony DeMayo will explain what was happening in the United States government at the time of the crisis and describe how Lincoln fought to keep control and avoid an inevitable civil war.
