Tim Ackerman is the author of the 2009 novel "For a Reason", about two people coming together because of tragic events in their lives.
His new novel, "The Safehouse", discusses how the law does not adequately protect victims of domestic violence.
The author is donating 25% of his royalties from THE SAFEHOUSE to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, a very worthwhile organization that helps abused women and their children. He is currently working on his third manuscript. Mr. Ackerman lives in Connecticut with his family.
