Fire Chief, Police Ask Residents To Sign Up For Emergency Alerts

EAST HAVEN, CT — Fire Chief Matt Marcarelli is asking residents to sign up for emergency notification alerts.

In an emergency including safety notifications, weather event notifications, evacuation notifications and a host of other public safety related notifications., Everbridge sends messages by phone, text and email. The alerts stop once they are read.

Marcarelli wrote: "We need you to subscribe to our mass notification system. Some of my friends have done it, but we need all town residents to sign up! Click the link and sign up for notifications!"
