Crash Leaves Bicyclist With Life Threatening Injuries: East Haven PD

A man riding a bicycle was seriously injured in a crash involving a motor vehicle, police said.

EAST HAVEN, CT — A 53-year-old man riding a bicycle on Foxon Road Tuesday night was seriously injured in a crash involving a motor vehicle, according to East Haven police Capt. David Emerman. The driver remained at the scene, he said.

It was around 6:30 p.m. when police and East Haven firefighters were called to the scene in the area of the 800-block of Foxon Road.

The man's name was not released as of late Wednesday, Emerman said.
