Frank Pepe's to Open New Location in Greater Boston Area
The New Haven pizzeria will open on Beacon Street in Brookline, MA.

The nearly-90-year-old New Haven restaurant will open a new location in Brookline, MA. The new Pepe’s is expected to open in spring 2015 after completing development plans and construction, according to a news release.
“With so many great pizza places here, the bar has been set extremely high,” said Gary Bimonte, the grandson of Frank Pepe, in a statement. “We’re excited to have Bay State pizza lovers try our pizza. Can there ever be enough good pizza in the world?”
The location in the greater Boston area currently houses The Fireplace, owned by New Haven native Jim Solomon, according to a news release. Solomon plans to focus on his catering business. Solomon is a fan of Frank Pepe’s pizza, the release reported.
The new Pepe’s will be located at 1634 Beacon St.
